Buckley Dials, mostly seen on the 5 digit references, but rare on the previous 4 digit 16xx models. This 1601 is one of the early Buckley Roman Numeral dials with all its lume plots. The lume is Zinc sulphide, under a black light it will illuminate and illumination will fall off rapidly (Sub 10 Seconds). The watch is honest with signs of previous polishing on the case but bezel is still quite sharp for the age.
