I like playing detective with certain watches, including this one. The case is oddly marked 10k on the back of one lug with a capital E besides it. That mid case is solid 10k gold made for the Eaton Centers and is a Canadian oddity that I will likely never see again. These cases are mostly gold filled and never solid gold like this one. The Solar dial and rotor are original to the watch and the rotor is not the butterfly type we see usually on the Tudor models, it is specifically a Solar Aqua rotor. The watch is overall well preserved and dial is not specifically rare or perfect but it makes this watch one of the very few solid gold variants of these early FEF 390 7919 models. In the Tudor community the 7919 models are among the most sought after, if you know you know type of watch.
